Your Instructor

Mrs. Ann Carter has a passion for education and a deep love of learning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Education from Liberty University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in STEM from Grand Canyon University. With almost 18 years of experience teaching students both in the U.S. and internationally, Ann has developed an adaptable and engaging teaching style. At Veritas, she desires to make math not only understandable but enjoyable for her students. She finds great fulfillment in seeing her students grow into confident, thoughtful individuals who are eager to explore the world around them through a lens of God's glory and purpose for their lives.
Outside of her teaching role, Ann is always planning her next adventure. She and her husband have four children and two daughters-in-law and are enjoying the new phase of life that having grown children brings. She enjoys traveling with her husband, hiking, and soaking in the beauty of the great outdoors. Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, a reminder of God’s constant guidance: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
